About this puzzle
The otter on the right is the clearer of the two, in profile with its head lifted and mouth just parted, whiskers bright in the sun. The second otter overlaps it on the left, facing away, so mostly you’re seeing the back of its head and shoulders. Grass surrounds them both and a few blades cross in front, breaking up the brown of their fur.
Eurasian otters are usually solitary, so two together like this is often a mother with a well grown pup, or two cubs from one litter. Young otters won’t leave their mother for about a year, and they spend that time learning to swim and hunt.
How to play
Choose how hard you want it, then move pieces by mouse or fingertip. A correct piece snaps home and holds. Preview the whole image any time you like, at whatever speed suits you.
Tips for solving this one
Start with the raised head on the right, the sharpest feature, then work along its back to the second otter. The two brown bodies are close in tone, so use the run of the fur and the gap between them to keep pieces straight. The grass is busy, but it’s full of color, which makes it easier to place than a plain background.
