About this puzzle
A foal’s legs are already about ninety percent of their adult length on the day it’s born, which is why foals look so gangly and why they can gallop beside their mothers within a day. The body takes years to catch up, and that mismatch is a big part of what makes foals so endearing.
In this photo the mare’s coat is a deep chestnut with a long pale blonde mane streaming out behind her, and a green halter on her head. The foal’s coat is white with brown patches on the head, neck and rump. Bright, even green grass fills the frame from edge to edge.
How to play

Tips for solving this one
Build the foal first, since its white body stands out sharply against the grass. Then do the mare’s flying blonde mane, which is a distinct texture, and work down through her chestnut body and legs. The grass is uniform green, so sort those pieces by the small yellow flowers and finish with the edges.
