More puzzles to play
One puppy has its chin propped on top of a sleeping sibling and is gazing straight at the camera with soft, thoughtful eyes, while the rest of the litter dozes in a heap around it. It’s the one pup in the pile that decided to stay awake, and it’s the cutest thing.
About this puzzle
Newborn puppies sleep for up to twenty hours a day, and they sleep in piles on purpose. They can’t hold their own body temperature well in the first weeks, so cuddling up to their littermates keeps everyone warm. It also gets them used to being touched, which helps them grow into calm, friendly dogs.
In this photo the wide awake puppy has a brown face with a white muzzle, one ear flopped forward and the other back. Its siblings lie around it in shades of tan, black and cream, and behind them the garden fades into a gentle green blur.
How to play
Choose how many pieces you’d like, then move them with a mouse or your finger. A piece in the right spot snaps and locks. Peek at the full image whenever you need to, and there’s no time limit.
Tips for solving this one
Start with the alert puppy’s face, since its eyes and dark nose are the clearest details. Then work out along its brown back. The sleeping siblings are big soft shapes in tan, black and cream, so sort by color and build them one at a time. The green background is the last thing to fill in.
Common questions
Is it free?
Yes. No cost, no sign up, no strings. Just play.
Does it work on a phone?
It does. The board adapts to your screen, though the soft fur of the sleeping pups is easier to handle on a bigger display.
Can I change the difficulty?
Yes. Pick the piece count before you start. Keep it modest for a quick solve, or push it up and let the puppy pile make things tough.
Will it save my progress?
The puzzle stays as it is while the tab is open. Once you close it, the next visit begins fresh.
