About this puzzle
Cavaliers are named after King Charles II, who was so devoted to his little spaniels that, the story goes, he let them follow him into Parliament and refused to be parted from them. They were bred purely for company, and that soft, pleading expression has been winning people over for three hundred years.

How to play

Tips for solving this one
Start with the eyes and nose, since they’re the sharpest details on the board. Then build the white blaze up the face and the chestnut ears out to either side. The paws are small pale shapes at the edges. The beige carpet has a fine texture, so sort those pieces by how much shadow they carry and finish with the bright window at the top.
