More puzzles to play
This black Lab puppy has just climbed onto the front of a red kayak, soaking wet and looking very pleased with itself. Between the dripping coat, the red collar with its bone shaped tag and that eager little face, it’s a pup that’s clearly had a good day on the water.
About this puzzle
Labradors were bred on the coast of Newfoundland to help fishermen haul nets and fetch fish from icy water. They come with webbed toes, a thick water resistant coat and a strong tail that works as a rudder, so a puppy like this takes to swimming almost as soon as it’s allowed.
In the photo the puppy stands on the bright red bow with its front paws gripping the edge, water still beaded on its glossy black fur. Behind it the lake is a soft green blur, with a strip of grass along the top, and the red of the kayak fills the whole bottom of the frame.
How to play
Pick your piece count and start dragging, with a mouse or a fingertip. Pieces that fit snap together and hold. The finished picture is always there to preview, and there’s no clock.
Tips for solving this one
The puppy’s face and the red collar are your starting point, since the tag and the eyes are the sharpest details. Then build the black body downward to the paws. The red kayak is a big, easy block along the bottom. The green water is the hardest part, so sort those pieces by shade and use the edges to place them.
Common questions
Is it free?
It is. Every puzzle here costs nothing and needs no account.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It plays well on a phone. The red, black and green split into clear zones that are easy to see on a small screen.
Can I change the difficulty?
Yes. Set the piece count at the start. A high count turns all that green water into a serious test of patience.
Will it save my progress?
Progress holds while the tab is open. Close it and your next game starts from scratch.
