About this puzzle
Cat breeders never call this color gray. It’s known as blue, and it’s actually a diluted version of black, caused by a gene that spreads the pigment more thinly through each hair. Russian Blues, Chartreux and British Shorthairs are the famous blue breeds, though plenty of ordinary house kittens wear it too.
This kitten’s coat is a soft silvery blue with faint darker stripes on the legs and tail, standing out cleanly against the black background. The deep red cushion under its paws is the only other color in the frame, which makes the whole picture feel like a studio portrait.
How to play
