About this puzzle
Kittens start playing at around four weeks old, and none of it is idle. Batting at a ball, stalking a toy and pouncing on it are all rehearsals for hunting, which is why a kitten will chase the same small ball around a room for an hour without getting bored.
This kitten looks like it’s been doing exactly that. It stands on a deep blue carpet with its striped gray and brown coat, white muzzle and pink nose turned toward you. The orange ball waits in the background, and a couple of pale patches of light on the carpet add a little variety to the blue.
How to play
Set your piece count, then drag pieces around with a mouse or a fingertip. Pieces that belong together snap and stay. You can check the full picture any time, and nothing’s timed.
Tips for solving this one
Build the kitten’s face first, since the white muzzle and pink nose stand out against the stripes. Then work out along the body and the white paws. The orange ball is a small, easy island. The blue carpet is the bulk of the picture, so use the pale light patches as landmarks and finish with the edges.
