A silver tabby lies stretched along a white windowsill, one paw hanging over the edge, looking straight at the camera. Behind the glass, blurred green leaves and yellow blossoms give a bright spring backdrop. It is a calm, sunny scene.
About this puzzle
A gray and silver tabby has draped itself along a painted windowsill, body relaxed and one back paw dangling. Its yellow-green eyes are fixed on the viewer while the tail curls off to one side. Through the window the garden is a soft wash of green and gold, out of focus so the sharp cat stands out.
Cats favor window perches because the spot combines warmth, a high vantage point, and a constant stream of moving things to watch. Indoor cats will often track birds and insects through the glass for long stretches, a behavior sometimes called cat TV.
How to play
Pick a piece count that suits the challenge you want, then drag pieces with a mouse or a fingertip. Correct pieces snap together and lock in place. You can shuffle the tray or peek at the finished picture anytime, and nothing is timed.
Tips for solving this one
The cat’s body makes a long horizontal line across the middle, so build that first, starting from the head and the bright eyes. The white sill gives you a clean edge to work along underneath. The blurred garden is the hard part, so sort those pieces by patches of green versus yellow and place them last.
